Philip Sajet
Philip Sajet is an accomplished jewelry maker, and the elements that speak loudest in his works are often the lines of force of their structures. The artist goes back to the essence of a piece of jewelry, back to its most classic conformation, which is analyzed, and its structural schema exposed. The skeleton of his jewels - their reduction to pure mounting, compositions of geometric-mathematical rhythm and rule - reveals the aesthetic pleasure of the structure. Here, the void and the reduction to the negative of structural schemas have the same dignity as fullness. (from CORPO, MOVIMENTO, STRUTTURA.
